After the big bang of Korean indie rock in 1997, local hiphop scene became bigger and bigger. US hiphop scene stroke Korea and it helped the increasing of hiphop music and style market. 2Pac, SnoopDogg, WuTang and Fugees became popular. DJ Krush and DJ Shadow shook the underground club culture, also with techno boom.

Club MasterPlan became the cradle of hiphop musicians. Hiphop live played during 3 days in a week. MasterPlan released hiphop compilations and albums. DjSoulscape is one of the artists. They told this album as 'confirmed to be hiphop classsic already' and I think it's partly true.

This album reminds me Meiso of DJ Krush or ...Endtroducing of DJ Shadow. Featured rappers do their rap in their own mood with Korean rap. You can hear Korean is very suitable for rap. The lazy mood of jazz or acid jazz of this album let me in lose tension and just ride the rhythm.
