The most famous artist among ultra under musician, KimDuSu released new album after 11 years from the last LP. He's a completely underground musician but many folk fans talked about him with word of mouth.
He's songs are on the line of traditional naturalism from JoSeon or older dynasty. It's related with Taoism, but it's common mood among Koreans. Sadly the common mood is disappearing as the capitalism grows.
In Eastern Asia, there is a type of poem, Bu(賦). On the Bu, poets describe the thing or accident as similar as fact. It was official type of the scholars. KimDuSu named a song BangRangBu, Bu of Nomad. He is on tradion as his own way.
The sound is very well captured as natural state. Cover art is also beautiful painting. Japanese translation contained. Most of all, LP was released, but LP is expensive...-.-
Anyway you can feel the one of the peak of Korean Taoism with this once folk album, I promise.
