나이팅게일 선서

• 플로렌스 나이팅게일의 이름을 딴 선서
• 히포크라테스 선서의 수정판
• 1893년, 미국 Harper 병원 Farrana 간호학교 졸업식에서 처음 사용됨
• 1935년 개정판이 널리 사용됨

2 한국어판

• 나는 일생을 의롭게 살며 전문 간호직에 최선을 다할 것을 하느님과 여러분 앞에 선서합니다.
• 나는 인간의 생명에 해로운 일은 어떤 상황에서나 하지 않겠습니다.
• 나는 간호의 수준을 높이기 위하여 전력을 다하겠으며 간호하면서 알게 된 개인이나 가족의 사정은 비밀로 하겠습니다.
• 나는 성심으로 보건의료인과 협조하겠으며 나의 간호를 받는 사람들의 안녕을 위하여 헌신하겠습니다.

3 영어판 (1935년 개정판)

• I solemnly pledge myself before God and in the presence of this assembly to pass my life in purity and to practice my profession faithfully.
• I will abstain from whatever is deleterious and mischievous and will not take or knowingly administer any harmful drug.
• I will do all in my power to elevate standard of my profession, and will hold in confidence all personal matters committed to my keeping, and all family affairs coming to my knowledge in the practice of my calling.
• With loyalty will I aid the physician in his work, and as a missioner of health, I will dedicate myself to devoted service for human welfare.
