PDS is the rare indie ambient/noise/psychedelic band in Korea. I think they formed the band influnced by MyBloodyValentine. All members play keyboard and 3 members can play guitar so their music let you thick wall of sound. When I first heard them, I was so delighted that their existence shows the varieties of Korean Rock. In fact, most indie rock bands play punk, britpop or modern rock. As title says, they hope listeners to flight in circumstance, and they successed. This long and drug junkie(in Korea, all drugs are illegal and most bands don't use it) style ambient terror makes you in fantasy. They temporally dasbanded cause of military service.

PDS started to react with their label balloon and needle. This completely private label does music by them, of them and for them. PDS(mainly leader HongCheolGi) released their split new EP with PiWaGgot(Blood and Flower). This split EP is just private pressing. They perhaps recorded at HongCheolGi's home and engineered by him. They made CD with CD writer of ther own and printed jacket and back cover. The CD is distributed in only one record shop at HongDae and their homepage balloonnneedle.com. In spite of private press, The artwork of this album is fantastic! But their music still dramatic/ambiant/noizy. And on this EP their lyrical slow core sound added. They have cult fans already and their label can be onother good private label like CavarE. PiWaGgot is family band. HongCheolGi and JeongEunJu of pds participated. You can hear chamber pop/slow core folk/lo-fi style like TheSlowdive from the music of PiWaGgot.
