Lydian is an indie band with a lyrical taste. They are GangHyeongJe (guitars), HanSeungHo (guitars), BanSeungU (bass), and LeeSeungJin (drums).

This CD is actually a hybrid. That is, it contains a data track which carries a program (in this case, a Microsoft Windows program) that shows a music video and other stuff (the video was nothing special, though).

As for the music, the first time, I skimmed through it, I thought it was a complete waste. After listening to it more carefully, however, I changed my mind to an "okay" status. It's not a bad approach, the lyrical rock (not every track is like that though), that is. It's just that their playing isn't "up to it," I think. I know it's much easier to just bang on the three chords and let your heart out. To do what they ultimately achieve to do, they need more stable instrument skill, and apply a more elaborate licks (some guitar sequences seem too simple). Am I too critical? Maybe. But that's what I heard. I don't think it's not too bad of an attempt.

Bottom line: As I said, not bad. But not to my taste. I don't know enough to compare this group with another. You might want to try it if you like semi-progressive rock...
