• Lex Julia de maritandis ordinibus (정식혼인에 관한 율리우스 법) - 로마 상류층의 결혼과 출산을 권장하기 위한 법률로 국가가 번식에 개입한 사례. "Caelibes could not take an hereditas or a legacy (legatum); The Lex Julia allowed widows a term of one year (vacatio) from the death of a husband, and divorced women a term (vacatio) of six months from the time of the divorce, within which periods they were not subject to the penalties of the lex"
