It's something of a mystery how I can come across these things. Only place on the web I saw her album was in an obscure "new release" page on the MBC radio site. Her face actually intrigued me. (You know I have a thing for a female singers. :)) Surprisingly, she is pretty good. Her young and (maybe) week appearance deceives her voice completely: her voice is deep and surprisingly good.
This is her debut album. The songs don't get to you right away. However, her voice will get to you. She has amazingly deep voice, a telling voice. Another surprising thing is that a lot of good musicians have participated in this album. Some of easily notable names are ParkGwangHyeon, SamLee, HamChunHo, KimHyeongSeok, etc.
Not only her voice is appealing, she wrote several of the tracks, for some even doing the arrangements. Just one thing I don't understand is that with SinChon Music being her producer and Warner Music Korea her distritor, how come their marketing forces haven't done much about this well-made album? Who knows.
Most of the tracks are "balades." Pretty good, but nothing really sticks to you fast. Nice album, though. I've been listening to it a lot.
