KimHyeonSik is one of the most beloved singer in GaYo history. His husky and blusy voice rubbed many fans' soul. When he died for overdrinking in 1990, many people felt sorrow and his posthumous work [NaeSaRang NaeGyeotE] became the mega hit song. I think he is similar to TomWaits. KimHyeonSik's mood is of lowlife on the city. He was a pure artist who really loved SoJu[Korean unique spirituous liquor]. He was a member of SinChonBlues and he was a big brother of DongAGiHoik family. On this his last album which released in his lifetime, his crying and soul contained wholy. [Play:KimHyeonSik5NeokDuRi.mp3 NeokDuRi] became one of the most favorite song among Koreans. And [Play:KimHyeonSik5GeuGeoRiGeuBenChi.mp3 GeuGeoRi GeuBenChi] is my favorite song. Sometimes I sing this song it makes me in katharsis.
