I don't know why the band's name is MiSeonI (it's a girl's name). Anyway, they are not a complete live band because there are only two members. They are JoYunSeok (vocal, guitars, bass, and keyboards) and KimJeongHyeon (drums). Their music is very lyrical and melodic, with the rock bases. Somehow, they reminded me of EonNiNeIBalGwan. Although most of the tracks carry similar feel with them, they aren't too bad.

I am not sure about the release date. I think it came out last year, but I am not so sure. Slower and softer kind compared to Ann, but not bad. Maybe too soft and slow for me, though...

Bottom line: If you liked EonNiNeIBalGwan, you might like this as well. I might put this into my CD changer at my next refresh. :)

In Korea, indie bands born like mushrooms after rain. I think the indie scene absorbed wind of change. In 1992, Military Dictatorship was collapsed, so cultural variety can be received.

MiSeonI is also indie band. And it isn't based on Seoul, based on BuSan. In rock scene, local colour appeared. MiSeonI's mood is like TheRadiohead. Leader JoYunSeok has delicate voice but sometimes powerful like Thom Yorke. And his guitar work isn't common. Many effets is on sensable drum beats. MiSeonI mirrored BritPop and Beatles style. But it can't be mimic. They firmly absorded and show their own music. Sadly they must do military service, temporally disbanded.

During the other member of MiSeonI is absent for military service, JaYunSeok started his solo project as LucidFall. Of course his lyricism and mild, youth voice is brilliant.
In this time, he was helped by RadiO label musicians, Go GiMo the owner and leader of RadiO most of all. Anyway LucidFall is more singer-songwriter than rocker.
JoYunSeok is the most brilliant singer-songwriter among indie scene, I think. His delicate sound and mood is represents the other face of indie music.
