ChoiSoRi started his musical career as drummer of BaekDuSan, one of the first Heavy Metal bands in 80s. But he wanted to got his own percussion sound. He went in retirement and researched the sound. In mid-90s he unearthed suddenly. Anyway he can release album, so he released 3 albums in 2 years. Now he is losting his ear for overuse in loud environment. He doesn't matter any tool like the most famous avant-percusion player KimDaeHwan. In this album he percussed guitar, drum, Buk & JangGo[Korean traditional drums]. And distorted.
In 90s many various style appeared on indie scene. Some of them became partley overground musicians. Among the boom, musicians like ChoiSoRi can act, it gives me the small hope for GaYo and Korean rock. --DisTort, 1999
