• 네 내각의 크기가 모두 같은 사각형
• 네 각이 모두 직각(90°)
• 대변이 평행함
• 대각선의 길이가 같음

 

2 넓이, 둘레

직사각형 가로를 [math]\displaystyle{ l }[/math], 세로를 [math]\displaystyle{ w }[/math]라 할 때

• 넓이 [math]\displaystyle{ A=lw }[/math]
• 둘레 [math]\displaystyle{ P=2(l+w) }[/math]
