리눅스 파이어폭스 한글 깨짐 문제

CentOS 5.7을 영어판으로 설치했더니 파이어폭스에서 한글이 깨져나온다.

2 의견

파이어폭스의 폰트가 한글을 지원하지 않기 때문이다. 한글 폰트를 다운로드 받고 그것으로 대체해주면 해결된다.

네이버에서 제공하는 나눔고딕으로 설정.

4 방법 2

yum repository에서 제공되는 백묵체로 설정.

한글 폰트 설치 확인

[root@localhost ~]# yum info fonts-korean

시스템 폰트 새로고침

[root@localhost ~]# fc-cache -r
/usr/share/fonts/bitmap-fonts: failed to write cache

/usr/share/fonts/default: failed to write cache
/usr/share/fonts/default/Type1: failed to write cache
/usr/share/fonts/default/ghostscript: failed to write cache
/usr/share/fonts/dejavu-lgc: failed to write cache
/usr/share/X11/fonts/Type1: failed to write cache

시스템 폰트 설정

• System --- Preferences --- Fonts
• Application font: Baekmuk Batang 11

이제 Firefox에서 한글이 깨지지 않는다.
