• 전류의 흐름을 방해하는 정도
• 전류가 흐르는 것을 막는 작용
• 물체에 전류가 통과하기 어려운 정도를 나타내는 수치
• 주요단위: 옴(Ω)

• 전원의 전압과 도선에 흐르는 전류의 비
