부등식

• 두 수 또는 식의 관계를 부등호로 나타낸 것
• 두 수나 식의 크기를 나타낸 식으로, 부등호를 사용하여 두 크기의 비교를 표기

2 성질

• [math]\displaystyle{ a\gt b, b\gt c }[/math]이면 [math]\displaystyle{ a\gt c }[/math]

• [math]\displaystyle{ a\gt b }[/math]이면 [math]\displaystyle{ a+c\gt b+c }[/math]

• [math]\displaystyle{ a\gt b, c\gt 0 }[/math]이면

[math]\displaystyle{ ac\gt bc,\ \frac{a}{c}\gt \frac{b}{c} }[/math]

(양변에 같은 양수를 곱하거나 나눌 수 있음)

• [math]\displaystyle{ a\gt b, c\lt 0 }[/math]이면

[math]\displaystyle{ ac\lt bc, \frac{a}{c}\lt \frac{b}{c} }[/math]

(단 음수일 때는 부등호 방향이 바뀜)
