- whatis
- /usr/bin/whatis
- 리눅스 whatis 데이터베이스 검색 명령어
- 명령어 + 1줄 설명
- apropos와는 달리 완전한 검색어를 넣어야 함
2 실행 예시
[root@jmnote ~]# whatis httpd
httpd (8) - Apache Hypertext Transfer Protocol Server
- → httpd = 아파치 HTTP 서버
[root@jmnote ~]# whatis whatis
whatis (1) - search the whatis database for complete words
[root@jmnote ~]# whatis what
what: nothing appropriate
